The book gives a stark reality check as to how even after moving to England the orthodox mentality of few Indians remains the same. How honor of the family is still hold higher then the independence and free thinking of ladies in the community.

Th book touches brilliantly on the forcefully mandating of traditions sometimes by force and the silent support of the community elders to the enforcers.

All in all the book is quite an interesting read and takes the reader through a journey through the streets of Southall, Enfield and the Gurudwara’s of London.
